Santa Baby

This blog entry is just a wee bit late, but since the photos are so incredibly adorable I decided to add them anyway. About a week and a half ago Issac's Grandma and I took Emma out to the Christmas Festival in Seguin that was put on by the department of agriculture from Navaro High School. Along with a traditional Christmas dinner, live music, and numerous Texas themed activities, there was also a Santa. I was unsure as to how Emma would react to the creepy man in the big red suite since many infants do not much care for him. However, my fears were put at complete ease when I handed her over to "Mrs. Claus" and she immediately beginning smiling from ear to ear. Once she was placed in Santa's lap her interest peaked even more. She played with the bells on his wrist as she smiled and talked to him. Overall it was a great experience and a great photo opportunity. After meeting with Santa for the first time we walked around the big red barn exploring the many interesting exhibits that were on display.
While viewing the indoor exhibits Mrs. Claus decided that she had not yet had her fill of our beautiful and always smiling baby girl. She came over to us and played with Emma for about 5-10 minutes. Emma absolutely LOVED her and I am pretty sure would have gone home with her had I let her.

After playing with Mrs. Claus and viewing the indoor exhibits we headed outdoors. The outdoor exhibits were by far the best!

They ranged from old buildings, animals, marshmallow roasting, and a manger, to a live blacksmith and arts and crafts for children in the old school house. Being in such a small town, a festival of this caliber was rather impressive.

This was the name of the farm in which the festival was held at. Once I saw the name Emma I knew I just had to take a photo.

Santa's sleigh- Texas style!

After viewing all of the exhibits the big red barn had to offer, a random little girl came up out of nowhere and started playing with Emma. It was incredibly cute, though I am not sure what Emma thought about this stranger practically climbing into her stroller.
