Merry Christmas to our Little Angel: Part 1

This past weekend we celebrated our very first Christmas with our sweet Emma-Bear. Since there are so many people that love and adore our little girl, we had multiple destinations in which to celebrate and open gifts. We began our holiday festivities at Aunt Charleen's house on the morning of Christmas Eve. We opened gifts with Grammy (My Mom), Aunt Paige, and Aunt Charleen. Grammy and Aunt Charleen just adore Emma and take every opportunity they have to spoil her completely rotten. You can only imagine how crazy they went on Christmas. After opening our gifts Emma and I hit the road for a three and a half hour drive down to my Dads beach house. We celebrated the rest of Christmas eve along with Christmas morning over there and even stayed several more days after Christmas had passed. Grandad also spoiled little Miss Emma rotten and bought her more toys than she knew what to do with! They came in quite handy because the weather was rather terrible while we were down there so nearly all of our time was spent indoors. Though I missed being able to partake in the usual outdoor beach activities, I will admit that it was very nice to be stuck inside with the whole family together. Although Christmas was several days ago, Emma and I still have two more houses to hit before all of the holiday festivities are over with. Should be interesting to see how much all of these toys are going to cost to ship back to North Carolina in another month! Oh well, its Christmas! Only the best for our little girl. Below are just a few of the pictures from Emma's first Christmas. Enjoy everyone!
I'm afraid the Ohnheiser household is divided when it comes to college sports. Daddy loves aTm and Mommy is a Texas fan. Since she already has an aTm outfit, I thought it only fair that she have a Texas outfit as well. This one is even made by Nike which makes it even cuter. Thank you Aunt Charleen!

Emma got two baby dolls for Christmas. One from Aunt Charleen that giggle, and one from Grandad that has a light up face and plays music. Emma loves them both!

Opening gifts with my sisters- Amy, Hayley, and Jule.

This was a toy bought by Mommy and Daddy. It is a leap frog learn and groove table and is so far proving to be a great baby buy! It has really helped her balance and has encouraged her to pull up more.

All those expensive toys surrounding her yet she chooses to play with a bow.

Emma playing with the loot from Grandad's house. This is about 1/3 of what she got for Christmas. We tried to keep it as small as possible due to the fact that all of this stuff has to be shipped back up to North Carolina.
Happy first Christmas to our little angel. We hope you had a wonderful day and we are already looking forward to celebrating next Christmas with you, together as a family- finally.
