This past weekend we celebrated Emma's very first Halloween! We kicked off the holiday by spending time with Emma's Grandaddy and Aunties in New Braunfels. Not only was it Halloween weekend but it was also the opening weekend of Wurstfest! I absolutely love Wurstfest and was so exited to dress Emma up for the occasion in this adorable outfit which was hand made courtesy of ETSY. As a tribute to Wurstfest, we began the day with a trip to a German museum followed by lunch at a very nice German restaurant located in downtown New Braunfels. After lunch we decided to head over to Landa Park so that we could take Emma on the train the runs through the park. It was a gorgeous fall day and the weather was ideal for a nice relaxing train ride. As you can see from the picture below, Emma loved the train and was eating up every moment with her Grandaddy!

After ridding the train we finally headed off to Wurstfest where we enjoyed music, dancing, food, beer, and a lot of live entertainment. Emma's favorite part of the afternoon was listening to the bands play and watching them as the danced about on stage while playing their various instruments. It was a beautiful day filled with lots of family fun and was the perfect way to kick off Halloween weekend in style! GERMAN STYLE!
