Baby Einstein Discovery Center

Several weeks ago Issac and I noticed that Emma no longer seemed to be satisfied with any of the entertainment in which we had been providing her. Her bumbo was obsolete, the play mat had become uninteresting, and none of her other infant toys seemed to be doing the trick anymore. We then realized that she had developmentally outgrown most of her toys and knew that it was time to do some shopping! I had been debating on which stationary entertainer I wanted to purchase for her for about a week when I finally came across this one...

This is a Little Einstein "Around The World" Discovery Center and has by far been one of my top baby investments. A mere $65 will get you this awesome stationary toy that entertains an active baby for hours on end. Though Emma loves her newest toy, the penguin (which when pushed shoots beads throughout its iceberg making quite a bit of noise) continually catches her off guard. No matter how many times we press the penguin, the noise always surprises Emma causing her to make the face shown in the picture below...
What a funny facial expression! Priceless if you ask me! Though she is still a bit unsure about the penguin, she is absolutely in awe of the panda bears on the see-saw. Not only do they move up and down, but they rattle as well. She loves spending her play time moving the see-saw up and down and looks amazed each and every time she does it. She has definitely mastered playing with all of the toys on her discovery center but has not yet been able to rotate the seat without assistance from Mom and Dad. As you can see from the next photo I have posted, Emma is still a bit too short in stature to fully reach the bottom of her saucer even on the lowest setting. She can stand on her little tip-toes but that is about it for now. Once she gets a little taller, we know she will have it down! We love you Emma! Enjoy your new toy!
