Today Issac and I decided to finally bust out the spa attachment that accompanies Emma's baby bath tub. Her bath tub is the coolest thing! It doubles as a standard tub and a baby spa! It has an attachment that when connected to the tub blows bubbles into the water creating a miniature Jacuzzi! Over the past few weeks she has learned to love bath time and now relaxes happily in the tub every evening before bed. One of the reasons for her sudden adoration for bath time is her newest “Skill.” Splashing!! She just loves to splash with her little hands and feet! She splashes and coos and smiles and laughs at me. It is just the cutest thing in the world and I absolutely love it! I figured that since she is enjoying bath time so much so she would LOVE the extra stimuli from the bubbles (not to mention Mommy knew the stimuli would be good for her brain development)! Emma was not in her normal splashy mood today (she did not want to take her afternoon nap today and was exhausted because of it) so instead of going wild like she usually does, she just quietly relaxed and enjoyed the warm water and calming bubbles coming out of the spa. What a magnificently relaxing first bubble bath!
