On The Move

Look at our little Emma up on her hands and knees, ready to explore the world! She has progressively been becoming more mobile over the course of this past month but as of the last week or so, her ability to get from point A to point B has drastically improved. She is not very fast when up on all fours, however, when she chooses to scoot instead of crawl, she somehow manages to get across the room (and usually into trouble) in the blink of an eye! It is shocking to see her turning into a child verses the helpless infant that I have grown so accustomed to over the past seven months.
Issac and I are so very proud of our little Emma. Not only is she smart as a whip but she has also achieved every single one of her developmental milestones very early. Though her speedy development excites me, there is also a part of me that is somewhat saddened. Since Issac and I only plan on having one child, every time she surpasses a stage in her life, I know that I will never have the joy of experiencing that particular stage ever again. The only thing I can do is cherish every moment I have with her and enjoy each and every stage of her life.

We love you Miss Emma and are so proud of your awesome new crawling skills!
