Fort Emma

Emma and I love playtime together and enjoy it many times throughout the day. Since I consistently keep her on a regulated schedule, play time always occurs at the same time(s) each day. Though I run a tight ship as far as our routine is concerned, I do like to change up our playtime and our "Lesson plans" as often as possible. By changing up our games, locations, toys, and activities each week, I am able to aide in Emma's overall brain development and ensure that she is being taught as much as possible. Her future is after all what we are most concerned about as parents and her future depends greatly on her education.
This afternoon I decided to change up play time by pitching a play tent on Grandma's living room floor for our princess to play with her toys in. Emma was not quite sure what to think about it at first, but after a few minutes was smiling and laughing away. She was having so much fun that Charger even decided to join in and remained in the tent for the entirety of playtime. At one point she lost her balance while looking up at the tent and fell over. Did she cry? Nope! Not a single tear! Rather than bawling like most babies would have, Emma simply smiled and let out a HUGE laugh! It was so funny in fact, that when I picked her back up and set her down again she attempted a repeat of this little stunt! It looks like she may end up being a little dare devil just like her Mommy. If my prediction proves to be true Issac and I are in SERIOUS trouble and will have to be *extra* vigilant of our little love at all times because no telling what stunts she will attempt.

I love you my little dare devil and I am glad you had fun playing in your tent this afternoon.
