For a Very Special Veteran

Happy Veterans Day to the love of my life, and two time veteran currently serving in the Afghanistan war, Staff Sergeant Issac K. Ohnheiser.
Issac, you are the love of my life and are truly my best friend. Never in my life could I have ever imagined a life filled with as much happiness and love as you have shown me over the past 4 1/2 years of marriage. You are incredibly driven and motivated and you succeed at everything you set out to do. You inspire me more than words could ever explain and I am so proud of everything you have accomplished throughout your Air Force career. You have worked so hard to ensure that our family has everything we need and then some. It always amazes me that no matter how exhausted you may be from working your 50+ hour work week and going to school full time, you still manage to come home and give Emma and myself 150%. You are the most loving and devoted husband, father, and airmen I have ever seen and your greatness at everything you do never ceases to amaze me. I cherish our relationship and know that the love you and I share is one that is truly rare. I thank you for everything you do for me and for our country and I cannot express to you enough, just how proud of you I am. Thank you for always being there for me and for always sticking by my side no matter what. Emma and I love you more than anything and we have never been more proud! We both miss you terribly and cannot wait until you are home with us, safe and sound, just as you belong.
"I love you more today than I did yesterday and I will love you more tomorrow than I do today."
Below are a few pictures of Issac throughout the past 4 1/2 years of his military career. Enjoy everyone!
The day Issac was promoted to Staff Sergeant.

June 2, 2006
The day we were married in Witchita Falls, TX where Issac was continuing his military training after basic. I was 19 and Issac was 23 and had only been in the military for a mere 2 1/2 months.

This is a photo Issac sent me when he was deployed to Afghanistan in 2007.

This was taken the day he left for Afghanistan (The first time) on September 12, 2007. I was a few months away from turning 21 and stayed in North Carolina (Where we had been living for less than a year) all by myself, with no family and only a few friends, for the duration of the deployment.

The day Issac graduated basic training.

Just hanging out at our old house.
