What a beautiful Monday afternoon! Upon walking outside that morning and realizing that a nice cool breeze and some much needed crisp fall air had finally arrived, I decided that an afternoon outside was a must! After Emma awoke from her morning nap and we had finished talking to Daddy on the computer, we headed out into great-grandma's back yard. We began our afternoon play time by swinging in the swing great-grandma set up for Emma under one of her beautiful trees. Emma loves playing in the swing which has me made realize that having a swing set put in our back yard as soon as we get home is a must! After swinging for about 20 minutes, we headed over to the front porch and decided to sit out in one of the big wicker chairs, have some snuggles, and of course play with Charger while we enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Charger also seemed to appreciate the wonderful weather and Emma had a blast snuggling up with her puppy! She is clearly an animal lover just like her Mommy and Daddy (and just about everyone else in her family).
In case you were unaware, chihuahuas make for great teething rings! Charger does not seem to mind and Emma loves chewing on and snuggling with her puppy dog. What a wonderful fall day with my two little loveys! I am looking forward to the many gorgeous fall days that will soon be upon us! Not only does fall bring fantastic weather but it also brings Emma's fall wardrobe which I have been oh-so looking forward to her wearing!
